It's school picture time!

It's that time of year again....school picture time! If you are a Taylor Middle High student, you've already taken yours a couple of weeks ago. And Pine Ridge High students had their yearbook photos take this week (hopefully you came to the auditorium to get them taken!). We enjoyed seeing all of you in there! Trinity Christian Academy is next. If you are a student at TCA, don't forget to wear your best outfit, best hair-do and best smile on Tuesday, September 29! As for all of you 2010 seniors, if you haven't gotten in to at least take your formal photos for the yearbook...STOP READING THIS AND CALL TO MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW: (386) 774-8100. If you've already taken them and still need to pick out your yearbook photo, the same thing applies to you! If after the deadline you have still not picked out the photo that YOU want to go in the yearbook, our lovely staff members here at Hansen Fine Portraits will personally pick out your yearbook photo ourselves...and we really don't want to have to do that. So come get that done NOW! :)

To our senior families:
Keep careful watch in your mail box for our family special. You should be receiving it in the next few weeks.

As far as reminders, I believe that's all I got for now.

Back to school, back to school...

Sooo, I bet I'm not the only one that feels like this summer has FLOWN by...right?! T minus 4 days until the first day for all you Volusia County School students (but who's counting?). And for all you upcoming seniors out there (specifically Pine Ridge, Trinity and Taylor High Schools) who haven't come in for your senior portraits...time is running out! MOST of you should have received a letter in the mail that starts out with "Dear (your name), Our records indicate that you have NOT yet taken your senior portraits...". Please take this letter seriously and call us as soon as possible to schedule your appointment. We are giving everyone until September 12 to get in and take your yearbook photo. You may take the yearbook picture one day and come back at a later date for your casual senior photos...but those sharp-looking tux and drape photos must be taken before Saturday, September 12 to meet your schools deadline. If you book your session between now and August 31st you will receive 25% off your session fee. After August 31st, there will be NO additional savings given. And remember, to choose the yearbook portrait you would like, you will need to schedule a preview appointment time during which you will be able to view all of the portraits taken during your session and make your yearbook selection. This appointement also allows you to sit with a portrait consultant and determine which package would be best for you and your family. Flexible payment plans are available to ensure you have the opportunity to receive the portrait package that best meets your needs.

On a different note, we are proud to announce that Hansen Fine Portraits is starting a "baby club" called Season's! It is our special "club" for children anywhere from newborn to pre-teen (and includes mommies-to-be!) that allows its members to receive discounts and exclusive Season's items that capture your growing child's life and memories. We are currently working out all the details for this club, but definitely keep an eye out for more information in the VERY near future.

Another thing you should keep an eye out for: We will be sending out information to all the seniors who have come in and taken their senior portraits about a family special. This special will ONLY be for the seniors who have come in to take their portraits. Look for this around the end of September/beginning of October.

We are so excited about everything that is taking place at the studio and we want you all to take part in it. So please call us today! Whether you are a senior, a mommy, a wife, a husband, an aunt, an uncle, grandma, grandpa...okay. Well, you get it. But call us to find out more information! School is out!

So, yesterday was the last day of school! Congratulations everyone- you made it through another (sometimes torturous) year of school. And a special shout out- Welcome to your senior year class of 2010! (I heard it called "class of dime" this week. Haha.) Everyone should have received our senior information packet by now (if you haven't, please give us a call: 386.774.8100) We ran our 50% off One-Day Sale last week -which turned into a One-Week Sale haha- and it turned out to be QUITE popular! Thank you to everyone that booked appointments and congratulations on being ahead of the crowd. We will be running a 25% off sale if you book before the end of July in a few weeks. But just between you and me, you can call now and get in on that deal...but remember: your session MUST BE PREPAID, so have a credit card ready. Make sure you look through the "SESSIONS BROCHURE" and figure out which "experience" you want and how many extra outfits you need! (And um, check out that "Famous Five" session!? What a deal, people...what a deal.)

Families- We are planning on doing something special just for you later on in the year, so check back later and make sure you look for that.

Summer is upon us...

And the count down begins! Only 21 more school days left of the 2008-09 school year (at least for underclassmen anyway. You lucky seniors have even less than that...).

We have lots of exciting things coming up here at Hansen Fine Portraits. Tomorrow night we will be at Pine Ridge High and Trinity Christian Academy taking pictures of everyone in their beautiful (and handsome) prom attire. Be sure to get your picture taken. Believe me...this might be the last formal dance you attend to just dance and have fun. And who doesn't want to remember the second biggest night of their senior year with professional portraits taken by our wonderful photographers?!
